Send notifications when an override or a schedule change has been made

Hi,

We notice that changes are often made to the schedule in the form of overrides or just as a planning effort. Multiple teams have been asking us about being notified when such changes happen. Any chance pagerduty can be enhanced with an option to notify mailing aliases or people when changes happen?

Hi Anand,

Thanks for reaching out! We will indeed have to file this away as a feature request. One option you have is if you notice that the schedule has changed, you can revert it back to a previous version.

You can also limit the permissions of people on your team so that not everyone can edit schedules that aren’t associated to their teams.
